Finally!

It's only been a few days since I scrapped but it seems like weeks. I finally got around to completing one of the challenges posted over at Use Your Stash! We had to create a card using scraps and alpha stickers. I didn't really use scraps but I did dig down deep in my stash for the papers and I even lined the envelopes. Hope you like.

A blinkie for Use Your Stash

Photobucket

Use Your Stash is looking for a blinkie for their new blog and asked the readers to create one. Well, since I have no idea how to make one myself I called upon my son Kyle. And here's what my little computer guru came up with. He did a good job, don't ya think?

Check it out!

There's a new blog called Use Your Stash that a couple of gals over at Scrapbook Playground has started that encourages readers to use their stash! Great concept, don't you think? Let's face it, we are all guilty of buying scrap supplies in the hopes of creating that perfect page, card or altered item - I know I am, and I'm sure I'm not the only one! So swing by and check it out when you get a chance, and who knows you might find a challenge or two that is just right for you.

And a few cards.

All patterned papers are from the Sunshine Lollipop line by Sassafras Lass. The cardstock and stamped image - Sweet Treats (retired) are Stampin' Up. This is a sketch by Cindy Haffner over at OCC. You can find her sketch here.

A couple more cards using the same patterned papers and my new set of oval nestabilities. I am lovin' these little babies. I ordered them from Cut@Home using my 40% VIP coupon. All you have to do to receive the coupon is sign up and Marci will e-mail you a new code once a month good towards one item. Be sure and check 'em out when you get a chance.

A couple of recent layouts.

This first one is of my grandson Jackson using the May kit from Classy Coordinates. I just loved the Robotics line from Sassafras Lass. They were just perfect for these photos of Jackson.

This next one is also from the May kit using a mix of Robotics line and Sunshine Lollipop. All patterned papers are from Sassafras Lass except for the navy blue strip by Junkitz.

Isn't he just the CUTEST! I thought the SOAP IS FOR SISSIES sticker by 7 gypsies added the perfect touch!

Welcome to my blog.

I finally bit the bullet and started myself a blog. Why, I don't know really. Maybe it's because everyone kept telling me to do it, it's so easy they say.........well we'll see just how easy it is. Right now my son is having to walk me through each step and let's just say, he has no patience with me. Must be the teenage years. Maybe I should remind him just who it was that cleaned his dirty nose, kissed his boo boos and wiped his little butt for many years......lol. Anywho, bear with me as I get this blog up and running. Until then, happy crafting!
