I Dig You & RCS #82

Here is my latest creation of our newest family member, Sandy.  Sandy (a.k.a Daisy) belonged to a friend or relative of my new neighbors at the top of the hill. She would dig out of the their fence and come down to visit with us and our pups.  For some strange reason she took to me.  After about the third time of me calling them to let them know she was down here, they asked if I wanted her.  I said, sure why not.  When you have 5 already what's one more, right?  And do you know she has only dug out of our fence once and it was because I was out of town.  Hubby let her out inside the fence with the other dogs and she wouldn't come back in for him....not even for a cookie.  Apparently, she likes me more!  lol.

For this layout I used the October Scraptastic Heart It Races kit and some old Jillibean Soup sticker letters.

I'm linking this up with the Marley & Me Challenge over at Red Carpet Studio.  The challenge is to create a project featuring an animal and now that I have 6 canines, this one was a piece of cake!

Thanks for looking!

Tag You're It

Ran across a new blog.....at least new to me anyways, last week called Tag You're It.  They're up to their ninth challenge now and I thought hmmm, what better way to get back into the swing of things so I decided to play along.

Here's the inspiration photo.

And here's my tag.

As you can see I dusted off some old punches, dies and stamps for this one. Thanks for looking. And if you decide you want to play along you can find the challenge HERE.

This past week was my turn to choose a sketch and run with it.  I chose this sketch I found on the Elle's Studio blog.

And here is my layout.

This is a layout of my boys cruising down the road in their "new" 1980 Super Sport El Camino project car.  My husband has been wanting a project car for he and our son to work on for years now and this is it.  I can't wait for the weather to cool off a little bit so the two of them can tinker with it.

I'm also linking this layout in the Layers (Challenge #145) over at Use Your Stuff.

Thanks for looking!

SOS #129: Holiday or Winter

I made 12 of these tags for a Christmas tag swap that Petra hosted on the Cookin' Up Creations forum.  As usual, I waited until the last minute to make mine and I was in such a hurry to get them sent off that I forgot to snap a pic of all the tags.  Luckily, I found this one on my Iphone.  I sent it to my friend Tammy over at Cookin' Up Creations to get her opinion on whether I should use ribbon or twine.  As you can see, the majority chose the twine.  lol.

I am linking this up with the SOS #129: Holiday or Winter challenge over at Shopping Our Stash.
My stash items include: brads, kraft paper and twine.  I also dusted off a Sizzlet snowflake die that I purchased a couple of years ago, a circle punch and a Spellbinders Label Three die.

25 Days of Christmas

Join us all month long as we celebrate the 25 days of Christmas.  Each day over at Cookin' Up Creations the Challenge Team will post a challenge about Christmas and/or anything to do with the holiday season.  So make sure you check out what the team has in store for you this month.!  Let's play!

Also Cookin' Up Creations is having a Challenge Team call so be sure to check out all the details below.   You will need to hurry though, the last day of submissions is December 13th.  Projects do not need to be new but do need to be recent.
