First, I want to share a card that I created for the ribbon challenge over at
UYS. I used some old paper and stickers that I purchased in a slab at my local Walmart sometime last year. I keep telling myself not to by slabs of paper because it lasts for freakin' evah - and what do I do? I buy more paper! (roll eyes). This particular slab of paper is from Colorbox and the colors are so bright and vibrant - just perfect for these winter blues. Anywho, the challenge was to use ribbon in a creative way so I chose to use ribbon for the balloon streamers. Hope you like.

Second, is a 11x8.5 layout I created for the Sketch A Day Club. I love, love, love this picture of Lulu wearing her Santa hat. Ain't she a cutie!

Okay that is such a clever way to say happy birthday.....even though it took me awhile to figure it out LOL!!!!
I know just what you mean about buying more paper...and jewels...and ribbon... and... Sometimes I think I am a collector more than a crafter! And I love, love, LOVE that photo of Lulu! However did you get her to lay still enough with that hat on? Amber would have been shaking it to death!

Were you in my craft room today looking over my shoulder (maybe I was in yours...LOL)...I did something VERY similar with paper strips that you did with your balloon strings...too cool...and love the card! Your layout is awesome...I just love Lulu's look...I get that kind of look everytime I dress up Spanky...LOL...
