I'm baaaaack!!!

First, I want to apologize for neglecting my poor little blog over the past couple of weeks. I think I might have mentioned in an earlier post that we live next door to my 81 yr. old mother in law. Well, since October 31 of last year it has been one thing after another. In January, she fell in her bathroom and broke her wrist and underwent surgery to have it repaired - one hurdle out of the way! Shortly after the surgery, she started complaining of a back ache. They told her it was her sciatic nerve and for a couple of months it pained her to stand or walk - another hurdle out of the way. Then, this past month she started complaining of a stomach ache and back ache. Dh took her to the emergency room on Saturday, March 14th and after 12 long hours in the ER, they finally decided to admit her. After one week of hospital stay and numerous tests later they decided to remove her gall bladder. As of today, she is once again next door and doing well - despite a chest cold that developed over the last day or so. Thank you Jesus! I'm hoping and praying that the worst is behind her now and things will finally get back to normal - or at least for a little while anyway. lol.

Okay, enough about my woes. lol. Here are some cards that I made during a month long card a day challenge over at YMBD. I didn't complete all 31 challenges but I did manage to make 21 cards last month and I'm pretty dang happy about it - it doesn't take much to please me these days. lol. I LOVED working with the new Chloe's Closet line by Making Memories!

This one was for the inking challenge.

Embossing challenge.

Button challenge.

Bird challenge.

Stitching challenge.
Thanks for taking the time to read my long post and looking at my cards. Hope you all have a wonderful day and happy scrappin'!
